Carter Ellis

Carter grew up in Charlottesville, VA before attending Virginia Tech as a Finance student. After graduating in 2014, he moved to Durham, NC where he began his career in wealth management and now lives with his wife and three children.

In 2022, Carter founded Valley Peak Financial, LLC, investment advisory and financial planning business, and in 2024 he co-founded Valley Peak Tax & Accounting, LLC, an accounting and tax preparation firm. Carter also serves on multiple nonprofit Boards in Durham in leadership or Treasurer capacities.

Having grown up watching his father and mother serve the Lord so passionately as Pastor and Pastor’s wife, he feels honored to be a part of Life House Foundation. Carter’s sharp, intuitive business skills and deep servant’s heart for Jesus make him a perfect fit for the team.
